Europe Road Trip Planned!

To mark the devastating BREXIT results, I decided to make my New Years Resolution to travel more of Europe and make the most of the travel luxuries my UK European Passport offers. It began with a trip to Rome in February and is extending in to my Summer break with one epic Road Trip - 2 and half weeks and 9 cities spread over 7 countries, a busy itinerary and I really can't wait. Here is an overview of my itinerary: 

 

OUTLINE OF ITINERARY

Day 1 - Warsaw, Poland - Spend time in the Old Town in the morning followed by the Warsaw Rising Museum.

Day 2 - Drive to Vilnius, Lithuania - ensuring to visit Trakai Castle

Day 3 - Vilnius Old Town (with Lonely Planet's Walking Tour) and the Museum of Genocide Victims

Day 4 - Zemaitija National Park for the Cold War Museum and the on to the Hill of Crosses

Day 5 - Riga , Lativia - Walking Tour of the Old Town, Art Nouveau Museum and Corner House Museum

Day 6 - Drive to Tallinn, Estonia via Parnu and Rummu

Day 7 - Explore Tallinn - Old Town and Telliskivi area - followed by an overnight ferry to Stockholm

Day 8 - Stockholm, Sweden - Old Town, Vasa Museet and ABBA museum

Day 9 - Stockholm - Skansen, Moderna Museet and Sodermalm

Day 10 - Drive to Copenhagen via Granna and Malmo

Day 11 - Copenhagen, Denmark - Nyhaven, Design Museum, Christiana

Day 12 - Copenhagen - Tivoli Gardens, Vor Frelsers Kirke 

Day 13 - Drive to Hamburg, Germany - explore Rathaus and Hafn City

Day 14 - Drive to Berlin, Germany - do a walking tour of some of the historic sights

Day 15 - Berlin - DDR Museum, East Side Wall

Day 16 - Drive to Krakow, Poland via Wroclaw and Gnome Hunting. Evening in Krakow Old Town

Day 17 - Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine 

Day 18 - Schindler's Factory Museum - back to Warsaw airport and an evening flight home
