With our flight leaving that evening we booked a cookery class for our last day with La Masion Arabe. We were driven in a shuttle to their cookery school and first given a lesson in making traditional bread and tea. We were then given a lesson on spices and introduced to our dada who gave us a demonstration of biscuits and pastilla. We each had our own work station and it felt a little like being on Bake Off! We were given our instructions live for how to make a tagine (I had vegetable and Tom had chicken) and two salads. They turned out delicious! I have never put so much care into a meal. Lunch was then served in the gardens outside, along with the biscuits and pastilla for desert. We were given certificates and tagine pots after the lesson. A brilliant experience and one I would fully recommend!
